چکیده
Hundred samples were collected from different clinical source. Sixty isolates identified asStaphylococcus aureus. The ability of S. aureus to produce DNase was examined phenotypically on DNaseagar medium and also by quantitative assay that revealed only 37(66%) able producethe enzyme. extracted, the crude activity specific 38 (U/ml) 253.3(U/mg)respectively. enzyme purified precipitating with ammonium sulphate at (65-85 %) saturation thenby using ion exchange chromatography in CM cellulose gel filtration Sephadex G150.Purified 42 4200(U/mg) respectively. optimumPH for found be 8 while stable wide range pH (8, 9 10) withremaining 100%, 90%, 86% optimum temperature 37 oC whilethe stability oC. Results indicate increased when wasincubated 10 mM each MnCl2, KCl, NaCl, MgCl2, CaCl2. molecular weight DNasewas done approximately 19KDa.

Survey of the Lethal Effect of Ciprofloxacin and Supernatant Isolated from Staphylococcus Aureus under the Stress of Ciprofloxacin on Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus Strains Isolated from Clinical Specimens
Background and Aim: Staphylococcus aureus is gram-positive coccus that is one of the most important causes of nosocomial infections and cause cutaneous or subcutaneous infections. Among these bacteria Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) are the most important. The aim of the present study was to investigate the lethal effect of a substance isolated from Staphylococcus aureus unde...
متن کاملCharacterization of coagulase-positive Staphylococcus intermedius and Staphylococcus aureus isolated from veterinary clinical specimens.
Staphylococci were the most frequent isolates from clinical specimens submitted from a large referral and teaching veterinary hospital. In this study a total of 160 isolates were examined by a wide range of biochemical tests and modifications of basic procedures. An attempt was made to test the validity of these procedures for use in characterization of clinical isolates of coagulase-positive s...
متن کاملDistribution Patterns of Methicillin Resistance Genes (mecA) in Staphylococcus aureus Isolated from Clinical Specimens
There is a growing concern about the application of molecular methods in epidemiological studies of infectious diseases. The objective of this study was to determine the genetic stability of methicillin resistance genes in Staphylococcus aureus for the evaluation of resistance strain distribution. One hundred and fifteen S. aureus isolates from patients with staphylococcal infection were collec...

Objective(s) Staphylococcus aureus is a common cause of human infection, and emergence of vancomycin-resistance S. aureus is a great concern for treatment of methicillin-resistant S. aureus,(MRSA) in recent years (MRSA). Here, we report the isolation of high-level VRSA. Materials and Methods S. aureus was isolated from foot ulcer of a diabetic woman in Tehran, Iran. Antibiotic susceptibilit...

Objective(s): Infections by Staphylococcus aureus remain an important health problem. The aims were to detect mecA, staphylococcal cassette chromosome mec (SCCmec), accessory gene regulator (agr), and integrons in S. aureus and to investigate the relationship of agr types with antibiotic resistance of isolates. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 70 S. aureus isolates w...
